IMAW Event Hosting is Super Simple

IMAW is only made possible by those who volunteer their time to host events and share their knowledge. We created IMAW with a clear vision - to raise awareness and increase the uptake of mediation around the world. We work with our Regional Coordinators in key locations to deliver sessions that are relevant and interesting to our attendees.

Could you be an event host?

An event host is an individual or organisation who can facilitate an event that is relevant to the mediation sector. Your event can be online or in person and can be one of the following types:

1. Networking
2. Keynote talk
3. Mock Mediation
4. Meet the Mediator
5. General Webinar or Workshop

What is involved in being an IMAW event host?

As an event host you will work with your Regional Coordinator to promote your event and we will publicise this for you across our social media and email channels.

You will be responsible for facilitating the event including hosting (online webinar account/venue) and attendee management. We'll provide you with your own dashboard to manage your event and attendees.

Event hosts must record their sessions wherever possible and share the recording with our team for public access.

Are there any costs to be an event host?

It does not cost anything to host events. However, we ask that you donate as much as you can afford to help keep International Mediation Awareness Week running and FREE for everyone.
